Wanneroo Dog and Cat Boarding
The suburb of Wanneroo is located 25 kilometres north of Perth’s CBD. The City Centre has a relaxed, casual atmosphere and is a combination of cultural, civic, commercial and residential properties built up to Lake Joondalup to the west and Jandabup Nature Reserve to the east. Residents and visitors enjoy the town centre that has an excellent selection of restaurants and cafes, museums and excursions activities for the family. It even has an Escape Room!
West Coast Pet Care Centre is located 10 minutes from Wanneroo with plenty of bush land to walk your dog through in the country fresh air. While we love looking after your dogs, we also offer one of Perth’s only in-house training programs, specialising in dogs with disruptive behaviour.

Places To Take Your Dog
Dogs are welcome in most of the City’s parks, check the signage at your local park for any specific restrictions. No dogs are allowed in the Wanneroo Show Grounds at any time.
Located just 20 minutes north of Wanneroo is the nearest dog beach exercise area, Quinns Rocks Beach. A popular destination for dog owners living north of the river. This dog beach offers picturesque dunes covered in rich flora and long stretches of white sand. The water is crystal clear and perfect for swimming in. There is plenty of quality parking, grassed areas and on busy days there is often a dog wash available. There are some amazing rock formations along the beach too, depending on how high the tide is.
Another great beach to visit is the Whitfords Dog Exercise Beach, located just 20 minutes south of Wanneroo. This beach is a stretch of coastline dedicated to the exercising of dogs all year round. With recently improved parking, mobile food vendors and a dog washing service. It’s perfect if you are looking for a great location to meet other dogs and their owners, or if you are wanting to spend quality time with your pooch enjoying a nice long walk along the beach.
Pet Friendly Cafe
If you are out for breakfast in Wanneroo, make sure you stop in to Elixer Café for a bite. You can bring along your pooch to join you for breakfast. If you want to take your dog to a social outing, make sure you go to the Dog’s Breakfast. This is a fun day out for pet owners and their pooches. They can get pampered, washed, groomed and even microchipped if they need it.
Knowing where your local vet is located is extremely important in case of an emergency. In the unfortunate event of your pet needing to go to the vet, make sure to check out Drovers Vet Hospital or Wanneroo Vet.
