Last-minute holidays around Perth, WA. Part One.
With everything that has happened over the last year with COVID-19, planning holidays in the distant future has new challenges.
We have noticed a trend of our extended family (our clients) booking in last-minute getaways. Which is completely understandable given the current situation.
Our state has a lot to offer, and a lot of places to explore!
Here are a few destinations we thought of, that you may never have considered. Which might surprise you for a weekend away!
Bullsbrook & Chittering, WA
Bullsbrook is known as the gateway to rolling pastures and vineyards to the Chittering and Avon Valleys. A 50 min drive, north of Perth. Take the kids to explore the MAZE and splash around at Perth’s Outback Splash. Enjoy an indulgent weekend, exploring the Chittering Wine Trail or the produce available from local growers. There are plenty of picnic spots in Bullsbrook, Chittering Valley and nearby Walyunga National Park. Plus, lots of bushwalking trails in the Walyunga National Park to explore. There are lots to do for families, couples and friends alike.

Yanchep & Two Rocks, WA
Locations often travelled past on your road trips up north, Yanchep and Two Rocks are located about 45 mins, north of Perth. Offering a weekend getaway near the beach and a national park. The local lagoon is delightful at low tide and fun to explore. There are plenty of beach spots at Yanchep, Two Rocks and in-between. Go bushwalking, dining, Koala watching and cave exploring in Yanchep’s national park. Plus, check out Yanchep’s Lavender Farm. There are lots to do for families, couples and friends alike.

Serpentine, WA
Surrounded forests, this pretty country town is located just under an hour from Perth by car. You can visit the neighbouring towns of Mundijong and Jarrahdale. Explore the Serpentine national park and waterfalls, and Mundinup state forest. Hike the Bibbulmun Track and visit the Serpentine Dam. There are lots to do for families, couples and friends alike.
