Ideal for those owners that are finding it difficult to make it to conventional training schools but still want their canine companion to be well mannered. West Coast’s experienced trainers will work individually with your canine using reward based training methods designed to suit each individuals likes and dislikes, needs and circumstances.
Each dog will be trained every weekday for two 20minute sessions. Your dog’s progress will be noted each session and a weekly progress report will be filled in for you to keep. Towards the end of the training period we will produce a short DVD for you to keep of your dog working with one of our trainers.
At the end of the training period, 3 weeks for a basic course or 5 weeks for an advanced course, you will make an appointment (at a suitable time for yourself and one of our trainers) where you and your dog will have a personal lesson to ensure your dog maintains its new found behaviour when you return home. When you arrive the trainer will give you your dog’s go home package which includes:
A weekly progress report,
A personalised DVD of your dog showing off its new skills
A training booklet to help you maintain the level of training reached during the course.
And your dog’s certificate of merit.

If, at any time, after your dog returns home you feel you need our assistance again you are entitled to unlimited free follow up lessons (for you and your dog at our facilities) for the rest of your dog’s life.
