Dog Boarding

West Coast’s canine hotel has been designed and built using the latest innovations in design and safety sourced from around the world. Featuring a powerful ventilation system maintaining air exchanges in excess of international recommendations and in-floor heating which maintains a comfortable climate throughout the year.

All our canine rooms are self contained and provide privacy from neighbouring guests; they are even large enough for multi pet families. They are equipped with beds, automatic drinkers and a bright and friendly atmosphere.

We encourage all our guests’ parents or guardians to custom design their canine’s holiday program to suit each individual from ourrange of Canine Capers. You may order anything from a relaxing cuddle in the sun (weather permitting!) or a game of fetch with our Playtimes, to a romp around the local bridle tracks with our Country Hikes.
Our playtimes are an opportunity for our more social holiday makers to get together with a group of similar sized and active canines and play in our large exercise areas under the supervision of our staff, as well as to play with our range of toys and get cuddles. For our canine guests that prefer individual attention they will have exclusive playtimes with one of our staff members. You may order 1, 2 or 3 twenty minute playtimes per day for your dogs to enjoy.
Our country hikes around local bridle tracks give our canine holiday makers the opportunity to enjoy our picturesque country surroundings with one of our staff members. You may order as many hikes as you wish for your canine to enjoy throughout his holiday, from daily, or twice daily hikes too one or two per week.

For the dessert connoisseurs among our holiday makers we have available treats that are made on our premises.
Our Paws Creams are delicious frozen yoghurts made exclusively for the canine palette and are a great way for your canine to relax and unwind at the end of a busy day.
Our Yummy Tummies are rubber Kongs filled with our own scrumptious recipe and are designed especially for those dogs that love toys and chewing.

Things that you need to remember when boarding your Canine Companion include: current vaccination certificate, any medications your pet may need during his holiday, special diet (either supplied or requested) and an extra special hug when he comes home!
All dogs must have a current C5 vaccination. This provides protection for the dog against the life threatening: Parvovirus, Hepatitus and Distemper (C3) but also gives protection against the most troublesome Canine Cough pathogens: Bordatella and Parainfluenza
It must be remembered that when giving your puppy his first vaccination or if your dog has missed his annual vaccination, that boosters and a waiting period may be required before the pet can be considered fully immunised for boarding purposes. Please give your Veterinarian or West Coast a call if you are unsure.
